How energy drain works
Energy is the match engine in Legends Arena. Everything you do — and everything done to you — is measured in how much energy disappears. Here is the whole calculation, no mysteries.
Shot power is the base
Your shot power sets how much energy the opponent loses when a shot lands. A heavier boot — like cannon strikes or heavy finishing — multiplies the damage but needs more strength and weighs more.
Perfect strike, partial hit, miss
The precision of your strongest foot decides the outcome. A perfect strike deals full energy damage, a partial hit a fraction, and a miss nothing. Build shot power without precision and you hit hard but rarely clean.
Protection slows the drain
Protective gear — helmet, jersey and shin pads — cuts the energy you lose per hit. The price is weight: carry too much for your strength and you lose tempo and efficiency.
Counters multiply the pressure
A counter is an extra shot in the same round. Opponents who get tackled often lose energy twice as fast — not because the tackle damages, but because it creates more shots against them.
At zero energy: hospital
Reach zero energy and the match ends on the spot — your player goes to hospital. That is why the give-up threshold matters: it lets you step off before zero.
FAQ
- How much energy do you lose per hit?
- It depends on the opponent's shot power and boot type multiplied by the hit result (perfect strike, partial hit or miss), minus the effect of your protective gear.
- Does energy recover during a match?
- No — energy only recovers between matches, at regular intervals. Inside a match you manage what you have.
