What is a football RPG?
The term football RPG is often confused with football simulators. The difference is fundamental: in a role-playing game you build a player whose development persists, not a team you control for a single match.
Role-playing game vs simulator
A football simulator (like FIFA or Football Manager) gives you either control of a whole team in a match, or control of a club over a season. A football RPG gives you a single player — their attributes, gear, injuries and aging follow you match after match. It is your career, not a round.
Attributes that matter
In Legends Arena you spend skill points on Physique (energy, shot power, stamina), Game sense (vision, tackles), Match intelligence (work ethic, instinct, captaincy, mind games) and Foot skills. Every point shows up in the match engine: more stamina means more rounds, more shot power means more damage per finish.
A career that can end
Players age and can be injured badly enough to retire permanently. That is what makes it a role-playing game: there is a real cost to losing, and a real reward for keeping your player alive. On retirement you start a fresh career.
PvP, not a script
From level 4 every opponent is a real player. Your player's career is measured against others', not against a computer script. That is what makes an online football RPG different from a single-player one.
